I wanted to stop on by and show my final result for my 2nd project in my Color 113 class. I chose this as my artful experience because it had really challenged my creative side. I am proud of how it turned out check it out.
- In the critique, The class had to first figure out the piece based on what I included in the composition. So I will leave this out there like I did in the class and we'll see what some of you come up with.

My "artful" experience I had this week was actually in my studio class ART113 - Color. The class meets every Tuesday and Thursday. We had a critique over our Second Assignment, The assignment was to make a Mandala with the use of Subjective Color. I really enjoyed this project because it made me think of my peers work and how their Mandalas represented themselves. I went all out and used different mediums like ink, chalk, and acrylic paint. It turned out better than I had imagined. The greatest part of this experience was that My instructor was pleased with the artist Techniques I had used. Below I have included the base I used to make my Mandala. It is only the base. I will update with an additional posting or update this post with a completed image of my Mandala.
I feel there was always moments in my life that I had done throughout my life that showed I was creative. I think I began my artist lifestyle when I was 12 years old (2004) I had moved from the Navajo Reservation into the city of Flagstaff. So the transition I had experienced moving from my home town into the city was a fearful experience but also a time where I could start over. In my journey to a new place. I decided to embrace my creative side and started illustrating random things. I focused more symmetrical objects like snowflakes and cool things like birds.
